Ouran High School Host Club

Ok, those are serious animes (except Honey & Clover). This time I’ll give you a very funny anime. Ouran High School Host Club.

Synopsis:

Fujioka Haruhi, a normal student in a very prosperous high school who always studies hard. Haruhi is actually popular because Haruhi is the only commoner in that school.

One day Haruhi was looking for a quite place to study, but it’s noisy everywhere because the rich go to school just for play. So Haruhi went to the music hall, but haruhi found a host club.

Host club is actually a club for handsome rich guys, who have time to give hospitality to those lovely ladies who also have time and profit off of them.

But Haruhi made a mistake by shattering a vase. So that Haruhi’s in debt for 8 million yen (around 80.000 dollar). So Haruhi should pay the debt by being the club’s dog. But Haruhi isn’t doing a good job. For example, the club told Haruhi to buy coffee.. but Haruhi bought an instant coffee, which those rich bastards, I mean people, never drink before (they drink espresso). They didn’t even know that there is instant coffee. For them, it’s too “common”. So they’re scared to drink it.

But the club realizes that Haruhi has definitely a charm. So they decided to make haruhi as a host.

There are 6 members of the club (exclude Haruhi):

-Suou Tamaki. He is the leader of this club. Although he has the leadership skill and is loved by his member, he believes too much to people. But he is definitely a good man with a simple and unique personality. He is the prince type host, the king, and the father of this club.

-Ootori Kyouya. He is the cool type host. Kyouya is very smart. He should study hard to make his father satisfied. He is the manager of this host, he take care the accounting part. He is also the "mother" of this club.

-Hitachiin Hikaru and Hitachiin Kaoru. These twins always sell brotherly love for their customer. They are very naughty and make everything as their toy. They seem always cheerful, but they actually have problem because no one has recognized them as hikaru or kaoru because they are very identical.

-Haninozuka Mitsukuni (a.k.a Honey). He is the lolishota type host (lolishota means young boy under 17 who is very cute). He likes to eat cake and something sweet. Despite it looks, he is very good at martial art.

-Morinozuka Takashi (a.k.a Mori). He is the wild type host. He always baby sits Honey and protects him. He is very good in kendo.

Despite their look, they have their own rich people problem. Haruhi seems to be their savior. Vise versa, these rich people want to improve their relation with Haruhi, but it seems like a different dimension, dimension of the commoner.


I’ll rate it 3 or 4 stars.. well , it’s 3 ½ stars^^

This anime is super funny. There is a lot of hyperbolism.

You should definitely watch this anime.
